What is PELVIC HEALTH PHYSICAL THERAPY?
(AKA Pelvic Floor Therapy)
Pelvic health physical therapy is a specialized field within PT that aims to provide evaluation and treatment focused on musculoskeletal and neuromuscular dysfunction for abdominal and pelvic conditions. Fancy words for: I treat the entire body, but I have specialty training in the core to the pelvic floor and oh, so much more. I have had the privilege to advance my knowledge and experience over years of clinical care to best support you in rehab and wellness. My passion for pelvic and women's health inspires me to stay current with research and best practices to bring to you. Click SERVICES below for list of common conditions treated in pelvic health PT.
A woman's journey is an ever-evolving life experience: from childhood to preteen years, to menstrual cycles, pregnancy and postpartum (for some), peri-menopause, menopause, post menopause and beyond...
There is a need for a whole care approach in woman's health with a skilled understanding of our seasons of change.
Wherever you are on this journey, I want to journey with you!
